The first month of the ABC challenge is nearly over and we saw so many beautiful creations posted in our Facebook group and on Instagram.
We want to share with you our favourite makes although it was so hard to make the shortlist! If you can see your creation, please drop us an email to support@sinclairpatterns.com with 'ABC Round up' subject to redeem a prize!
We hope you enjoy these creations as much as we do! And we hope it might inspire you to participate in our February ABC challenge with the patterns starting with letters C and D. More information can be found here: ABC Challenge 2023 February (C-D) (please note, that the patterns starting with C and D will be on special on 30th of January)!
Our first selection is these beautiful and elegant Adele tops! They look so different yet share the same feminine look. We loved how you mixed and matched fabrics and also loved your pictures and styling!
Alba jacket is not an easy sew and here are some beautiful examples of craftsmanship and dedication! It deserves a special round of applause! On top of that your Albas are absolutely gorgeous!
Alexis is an older pattern that got some attention this month. Interesting details like contrasting sleeves and hood trims and carefully picked fabrics are featured in these beautiful hoodies.
Azalea might be a bit tricky to sew, especially if that's your first one! But once you master the knot it sews really easily. We are so in love with these Azalea tops!
Alana dress is a comfortable and very practical dress with beautiful princess seams and built in pockets. These are beautiful examples on how a plain or a colourful version of the pattern can look so good! Rachel paired her Alana dress with Bianca bolero which counts as a double entry! So much love to these dresses!
And please have a closer look at Lorrie's dress - she designed her fabric herself (you can check out her designs at Spoonflower here)! As a science professor, Lorrie decided to dedicate this design to the most common passwords stolen in a data breach. Lorrie says in her message (posted in our FB group): 'The passwords are scaled according to popularity. If you see your password on my dress, please change it! Note there is a small bit of profanity but mostly a lot of love.' You can find out more here (Facebook group post link).
This selection of creations features a gorgeous Bella skirt beautifully styled with a black turtleneck, amazing Brooke polo that looks so professionally made and a very cute Betty dress hacked to have bishop sleeves!
What can be better than sewing for our loved ones. Apollo is such a great project for that. And you can see why! These great looking hoodies will definitely be worn a lot.
Do you know that we recently updated our Apollo and now it comes in an adjusted height range (165-195 cm / 5'5-6'5) and updated sizing range US34-US64 (XXS-5XL). Check it out here.
A big thank you for sharing your creations with us and participating in our ABC Challenge! And a big thank you for reading this blog post!
Our challenge is continuing with the next two letters for February (find out more here). You don't have to sign up for a challenge, there are no hard rules either! Just make a garment(s) using one of the patterns that start with letters C and/or D! Post your make in our Facebook group or on Instagram and add a tag to your post #SinclairABC!
