I just made a toile of the top and the drafting is beautiful. No gaping at the neckline or armholes, in spite of having a fuller bust. This will be my favorite woven tank pattern. I haven’t tried the shorts yet.
I've finally made the Ipanema dress several months after buying the pattern. I made 2 muslins of the bodice first. This was very helpful in firstly getting the fit right and secondly to practice the placket. (I found the placket was a bit tricky to get neat but the practice paid off.) I used a mystery fabric that was possibly slightly heavier than recommended but I'm happy with the finished garment and it was a good benchmark for making more. The ties are a good option for me - I'm too short for unshaped garments - and I love the 3/4 sleeves!
I think the Indigo is a style that will look good on many sizes (5’1” and old here). I made the unlined tank with the shelf bra to test for fit and had great results. After finding my base size the only modification needed was some grading at the hip. The directions were good. Thanks!!!
Made several. Loooove them. Easy to follow. Only trouble I had was sewing the skirt, shorts and waistband together. Basted them first and it solved that problem. Also left out the elastic when I used a lighter fabric. Will Def make again.
I was very pleased with how these trousers turned out, they fitted perfectly without any alterations. I love having all these pockets. The instructions were easy to follow, too.
